History of Apple IPod: IPod Vs. Zune

Monday, August 24th, 2009

The advent of the MP3 player has since replaced the bulky technology of the Discman, leading to a battle of our technology for the best on the market. That battle is known as Apple versus Microsoft. The history of Apple iPod includes the Apple versus Microsoft battle is as old as apples versus oranges. No one can pinpoint how the fight started but it does lend a helping hand to the consumer, producing much improved products all the time.

If you were to venture into an Apple store, the colorful products will coax you into making a purchase. It isn’t difficult to choose a style, have that product engraved and now you’ve got a personal piece of the Apple pie. Now venture into a Microsoft store. There is a major difference. The customers are ushered to the MP3 players while words like gig and transferable will cause you to ask a ton of questions.

Anyone that watches music videos on TV or is an electronic geek understands that the advertising is targeted towards them. The advertising for these products also targets consumers with big wallets who aren’t willing to open those wallets. As the holiday season rolls around the advertising takes a huge leap and is more prominent than any other time of the year. Both Apple and Microsoft offer their MP3 players in extremely small sizes to stuff into stockings including the very small iPod Shuffle available at http://www.ipod–shuffle.com

The history of Apple iPod began on October 23, 2001. Zune was introduced on November 14, 2006; five years after iPod took the world by storm. Many think that Zune has an advantage since they sat back and watched how iPod took over but do they really? I have both types of players, which means I can battle with myself regarding which one I want to use based on what I want to do that day.

Owning an iPod requires you to download iTunes; it’s free and pretty painless. Quite often a sales clerk will suggest that you purchase a Zune if you do not own an iMac. I’ve found that with a PC I can still use my iPod without any problems. iTunes offers a ton of music to download and add to your IPod and most people spend more time on iTunes than using their IPod anyway.

Zune gives you the option of using your Windows Media player to sync songs to your device, which is fast and easy. Deciding which songs you want to listen to takes the most amount of time. Zune also has a feature where you can transfer songs between other Zune models. This feature is not yet available on iPod but could be coming soon during the history of the Apple iPod.

The real question comes down to how you want to listen to your music; do you want to listen to it on an iPod or a Zune? That is how the history of Apple iPod has developed. It doesn’t really matter which brand you have, no one will look at you differently. As with every product, people have their preference for what they own, which causes them to boast about their particular product.

More than likely a sales clerk will feel perfectly comfortable letting the customer make the argument for which product is the best. Let’s say you walk into an Apple store. In that store you will only see an iPod for sale, never a Zune. But, if you visit any other electronic store, you’ll see both brands displayed. This leaves one question to be answered; who is the better of the two? We should let the consumer decide this one.

Tuesday, August 18th, 2009

Outsourcing is now one of the most popular terms you will hear in the business world. Obviously, it is something that companies benefit from because companies today are extensively using outsourcing as part of their company. Since companies benefit from outsourcing, you would want to consider outsourcing to also be part of your company.

However, you first have to know what outsourcing is in order to fully understand how it can help your company and why this service is so in demand in the business world today.

Firstly, outsourcing is when a company hires another company to do their business process or part of their business process. You may wonder why companies outsource their business process when you can do it the old way and take care of your business process in-house. The reason for this is that companies will save a lot of money when they outsource their business process in other countries in companies that accepts outsourced jobs.

This is because companies that accept outsourcing jobs from other countries already have the facilities and the manpower to do the business process that your company will give them. This means that you will not purchase the necessary facilities and hire the necessary manpower in order to get the job done properly Also, these offshore companies that accepts outsourcing jobs will charge cheaper rates to get it done and they also hire talented professionals who are qualified to get the job done for you.

Another reason why outsourcing is preferred by more companies today is that they can focus more on important matters concerning the company. By outsourcing a part of your business process, your company will be able to fully use all the resources it needs in order for your company to stay competitive.

For example, if your company makes software, you will need a help desk in order to interact with your clients and to answer any problems that your clients may have. If you don’t outsource your help desk, you will need to make use of additional workspace, purchase the necessary technology to start an effective help desk, such as computers and help desk software, and you will also need to hire help desk representatives with full company benefits to man the workstations.

By outsourcing your help desk to call centers located in other countries, you will be able to save a lot of office space to be used for more important company functions. Also, you will be able to save a lot of money from purchasing the technology and hiring full time employees and your company can concentrate more on vital factors.

Today, more and more software development companies are now considering outsourcing their software development program to IT companies in developing countries, such as India, China, and the Philippines. These countries are known to be full of talented IT professionals who are able to develop the software you need in order to satisfy your clients. And, they also charge half of the fee that an IT professional in your country may charge you.

These are the benefits that outsourcing will give your software company. By outsourcing your software development program, such as .Net, Java programming, and other business solution software, you will be able to save a lot of money for your company and at the same time, let your company focus more on important matters to keep your company competitive in today’s business world.

Immediately Remove Avenue Media N.V. Software

Friday, August 14th, 2009

Avenue Media N.V. is a software company that specializes in developing spyware and malicious software. The company is based out of Curacao which helps them bypass the CAN SPAM Act of 2003. Most harmful spyware originates in foreign countries that have little concern for rules and regulations in cyberspace. Avenue Media N.V. made a wise decision in that business move because the one type of spyware that is commonly cracked down on in the United States – they specialize in.

Avenue Media N.V. is well-known for a video hoax inviting email and IM recipients to view free video clips including one with Bill Gates receiving a custard pie right smack in his face. Believe it or not, there are a lot of people that want to see Bill Gates get hit in the face with a pie. They click on the link and blindly download the “Internet Optimizer.”

Listen very carefully when I say always read End User License Agreements (EULA). If you read Avenue Media N.V.’s EULA, you’re giving permission to this company to take all the people in your email and IM list and send similar spam. Just in case your friends question their credibility, they will use your name as reference for their good standing. Not to mention the EULA also gives Avenue Media N.V. the right to remote access of your computer, so they can update or install new programs on your computer.

The funny thing about most adware or spyware is that in some inadvertent way end users don’t realize they agreed to have spyware on their computer. The reluctance of the end user to read terms and conditions thoroughly is the key.

If you think that Avenue Media N.V. is on your computer, removing it will be difficult because you will have to remove whatever their 3rd party affiliates have also installed. A good anti-spyware program should be able to take care of this in one sweep.
